Nice job Steve, probably one of the best tributes that I've seen so far. It brought tears to my eyes. I miss being able to see the band live and listening to new records every few years or so. Their songs were the backdrop to my life. I was fortunate to have found them early and to have seen them many times.

I’m a guitarist. Since Berklee, all my best friends have been drummers. Weird. Anyhow, I’ve developed an appreciation for the instrument. I’ve decided that Peter Erskine is my favorite drummer to put in and listen to and I now have a fairly hard time distinguishing between you and him, in so far as how “musical” your approaches are to the simplest of themes. Love it. Subscribed and if I had it to do over again, I’d be calling you early on for lessons!

I haven't played in a few years now and your vids have inspired me to practice. I end up hating what i play but then i see some videos that make me think, ok if i practice some simple things maybe ill like what i play and start playing again. You know you can hear the same message from 10 ppl but sometimes it just takes the way someone explains things to make it get thru to you. Cheers bro and thanks. Ive never been great but occasionally i can be ok.

I started listening to Neil when I was like 12. I set couches and chairs up in the basement. My mom and dad finally got me a drum set and I was excited but so angry because I couldn’t even keep up with anything he did. I still play today but i know some people just have a gift and are meant to be the best. As a human being and a drummer. No one like him. I started listening to him on 8 tracks…lol

It’s awesome I love it. We are all proud of him and aspire to be 1/4th the best of him
